GSS!

Annual well anticipated GSS is back last friday and will stretched till Jul this year. have to come up with my extensive shopping list to grab those things i've longed for since end of last GSS. lol. so here's my list (in case i couldnt get any of these maybe some kind souls out there could get it as my big birthday present? lol!):

1) handheld/ sling or haversack stayover bag large enough for laptop and other japalang stuff once university starts.

2) skinny pants (still haven get those since i last mentioned 3 months ago.. haha.).

3) working bag as Father's Day present.

4) working shirts (i still havent own any epilette shirts yet. but seems like the trend might be over soon).

5) Trucker or newsboy cap.

6) stocking up of birthday presents for the upcoming birthdays.

7) white tshirts for printing/ tee transfer.

8) other tshirts.

9) more polo tees (where to get cheap fred perry's?)

10) shades (talking about shades, bing just picked up a Ray Ban aviator shades from the sands of Sentosa Siloso beach yest! how lucky is that. why i have no such luck? grumble grumble~)

11) Haviannahs

12) weekend watch (meaning those leather or pastic belts, not the metal ones)

and the list goes on..

did this blog header.. just tried to upload to my blog to replace the cheesy intro but having some problems. anw the new blogger is so much simpler(after watching this tutorial), just that i had problems loading the page.

found that i've lost touch liao. i mean with my art works. it looked so... er.. amatuerish. especially the typeface..

I changed the colour of the background. an attempt to experiment with the template. changing from the original emo black to the now simple white. felt kinda dumb though. haha. cos i could actually go and change my template to a white one instead of wasting hell lot of time tampering with the html codes. lol.

but anyway it's a good start. for being so rotten bored at home, i've to start tampering and learn new stuff.

btw does anyone know how to change the cheesy introduction on top to a desired picture? intending to make a personalised "intro picture" but how do you load and how large should it be?

quite some time since i write on tees and just appropriately my good friend just made an iron-on tee for me. it's supposed to be JW's test-out as he was supposed to teach Photoshop skills during Art lessons back in my secondary school and the concept of making tee design(yea, my influence! ha!) came to him.

and so as a gimmick to attract his students, he did this:

爱吴尊 到无可救药

at that point in time the idol drama <花样少男少女> was so suffocatingly hot amongst the students so he thought of awarding his best student with the tee. lol. but some students reflected it being too gory (i think it's just imagery-ly graphic, not at all puke-inducing gore leh) and caused quite an uproar amongst the 吴尊 "头号" fans. in the end he hung up the idea. but Photoshop is still taught. ha.

we arent great fans of him anyway, and so the title of his work had some pun intended, with a whole new twisted meaning to his band's song: <爱到> and their corny-ly catchy lyrics. lol.

but a down side of this is that the iron-on paper will turn yellowish after just one wash. and it can onli be done on white tee, so the yellow contrast will definitely show. so it can only be done for fun lar.

Kate Moss + Topshop

Yes, the line is officially out on 1st May 2007 and it caused such a huge hoohaa in the fashion scene. In case, you have missed it, British supermodel Kate Moss (who's involved in some cocaine rehab and the face for Calvin Klein) has collaborated with TopShop to come up with a collection under her name. Nope, she's not the one doing the designs, she just merely brings her garments to designers to inspire them on the collection she had in her mind.

Now that the designs are out, there were mixed reviews in the market. Some were criticising that the collection was not as edgy as they had expected (common thinking, it's a collection under a supermodel's name who had the reputation of putting together cheap street wear together with high end clothes presenting a whole new edginess to fashion.) Many actually cramped outside the London outlet waiting to snap up the collection as soon as the line is launched.

That's the power of celebrities. Ha. Topman, Zara, Ben Sherman, Celio, anyone (just) come find me!! Lol.
