Stunning isnt it? the person just looked as if she's really dissolving into the background. but still dont know how to do. tried to micmick in my earlier shoe poster but still havent found the formula. ha.

Nike Sneakers template

just chanced upon this forum which discusses about customising your sneakers and such. and am surprised to find that there are drawings of the different types and genres of Nike sneakers out there. and someone actually came up with a template so that professional designers can do their softcopy designs on the templates before transferring their ideas to the real shoes.


and i just found out my sneakers is called a Low Dunk. lol. how cool is that. what type is yours?

Competition for Onitsuka Tiger sneakers

the results are finally out for the customisation Onitsuka Tiger sneakers competition held by Asics and RunnersWorld. no i did not take part. have to purchase the shoes to draw on it and onitsuka tigers arent cheap! unless someone sponsor me to tamper with the shoes lar. lol.

take a look at the RunnersWorld website. they feature all the 15 finalist's entries and showing the top 3 short writeups as well.

think the concept for champion is rather good, but the execution during painting seems very rough. ha. Anyway he's a tatooist, maybe he's more used to doing on human skin than canvas. ha. dont know why but tatooist gives me the creeps. esp the recent incident where the amatuer tatooist did his work on some lady, whose husband wanted to get back at her. shudders~

Advertising my shoes

" ! "

Okay, the advertisement for my shoe is finally out. Even though i still think that there are more things which i should add, ie the texture and stuff, but i cant wait to showcase already. it's a level-up for my designs! haha. a try out for the more commercial print advert.

anyway the design for the shoes is basically on the destruction of happiness at a funfair. (yar, i know. very emo-speaking nowadays. lol.) trying to have some juxtaposition over here since you are supposed to be having fun at such venues and instead you are freaking your life out. the shoes are supposed to be a paranomic view of the catastrophe, hence the scene stretches over the surfaces of both shoes. the title is simply "!". lol.

Another Online Tshirt Shop

it seems like more and more people are wearing Threadless nowadays. i mean being me of course it would be awkward to be spotted with the same tees with other people around you. I think Wen Jie(understudy)knows best what i'm refering here. lol. so i'll say let's move on.

Discovered this British online tshirt shop just like that of Threadless. it's called Split the Atom. and found the illustrations and graphics all very American even though they calculate in pounds currency. lol. dont ask me how I have this weird comment but the whole website just feels Americanised. might be the colour scheme. ha. this website is introduced by Computer Arts magazine which i have been actively reading nowadays. take a peek!

See YanZi act cute and crazy in this mv. i mean how often do you get to see that lunatic side of her? lol. And how could anyone not like this song?!? this is like really quite meaningful at some parts even though bulk of it are bit crappy.

anw wore my black yanzi tee to her autograph session! too bad i forgot to ask her to like take a look or something. hahaha. all the adrenaline rush and heart palpitating moments made my head blur. even my contacts dropped before i mangaged to get onstage to get her autograph.
